We all get a pass if we’re not yet familiar with PDR Cigars. It’s time to take notice. Master Blender Abe Flores crafted some exceptional cigars across several unique lines within his brand. The A. Flores 1975 Gran Reserva Sungrown Edicion Limitada gran toro is superb. I pulled in tobacco and bread on the cold draw. A burst of heavy cream hit me in the first third, trailed by cookie dough. Giant flavors of cherry pie and pie crust washed over me in the middle third, setting up for a coffee and mocha finale.
