Occasionally, a cigar comes out of nowhere and knocks your socks off. Envidia translates to envy in English, and cigar makers worldwide should envy Acosta Cigars’ newest release. I drew the pedestrian flavor of tobacco through the cold draw. Wood greeted me in the initial puffs, followed by subtle notes of caramel. Caramel continued, inviting in oatmeal for a tasty breakfast treat. As the oatmeal withdrew, it was replaced by wood mixed with leather. The complexity cannot be understated. Every smokey current perfectly mixed with the light spice running amidst my retrohales.
