Aganorsa Leaf released the Guardian of the Farm line six years ago, an homage to the dogs that guard its tobacco farms. The Cerberus label celebrates the mythical three-headed dog that guards the gates of Hades. Delightful bursts of bitter chocolate shot from the cold draw. The Cerberus began with the taste of chocolate wafers, trailed by oak and then cedar. By the midpoint, I detected some subtle hints of caramel, supported by more oak. Oaky notes carried this surprisingly simple cigar to the finish. Decent airflow was distracted by a continuously wavy burn.
