The first thing you notice about this cigar is the foot. Few premium cigars leave the foot unattended, but the Last Call features excess wrapper folded around the foot. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the lighting experience. The first puffs brought chocolate-covered coffee beans, a flavor that sustained through the entire cigar. Retrohales enhanced the flavor which was followed by hints of cedar. The quality construction of this lonsdale surprised me, as this stick was just over $5. The burn was even and no retouching was required, even in some slightly windy conditions. If you’re looking at the band, you’ll be uninspired, but don’t judge this book by the cover. This is worth smoking, and you should keep some for your friends. They’ll speak well of you when you give them an AJ Fernandez at your next get together.
