Alec Bradley’s Fine & Rare 2018 features ten types of tobacco, the sophisticated product of which will impress the most discerning smoker. Coffee, followed by a slightly bitter flavor, came through on the cold draw. Fire unleashed the richness within with waves of molasses and dried fruit in the first two-thirds. Dark chocolate and delicate hints of licorice flaunted themselves in the final third. I welcomed cocoa, spice, and black pepper intermittently on the retrohale, an unexpected roulette of flavor that kept me fully engaged. Buy two. Smoke one now and lay one down for some extra aging.
