Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

Alan Rubin’s sons, Alec and Bradley, started their brand using their namesake. The Alec & Bradley Kintsugi is named for the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. This unbroken cigar could have won a gold medal. I tasted the pleasing aroma of pipe tobacco in the cold draw. Loads of leather dominated the first third. Then the flavor faucet spouted nougat, caramel, and almonds. Dark chocolate, followed by cashew and baking spices, delivered a luxuriously rich finish. Buy a box and enjoy it with friends.
