Ah, the world, or for Alec Bradley, Mundial. Alan Rubin’s Mundial signified his dream for a worldly cigar. He chose a unique shape combining a perfecto foot and a parejo head, the Punta Lanza (pointed lance). This #56 came from the 2020 Cigar Rights of America sampler. After some very subtle cocoa notes in the cold draw, I tasted wood and earth in the first third. Oak and leather took hold in the mid-section, inviting occasional coffee bursts. By the end, only wood and earth showed themselves. A tight draw frustrated me, and the uneven burn required several touch-ups.
