Not many cigars come in boxes of 50 sticks. And I don’t know of any that grant the buyer two pressed styles. Yes, the Asylum 13 Medulla Oblongata Maduro comes in boxes of 50 with 25 each of box-pressed and round finishes. The Medulla features a traditional round shape, offering oak and licorice on the cold draw. Graham cracker welcomed me, inviting spice and bold floral notes into the first third. The second third moved to citrus flavors, most notably grapefruit. Some notes of soil moved in as the toro shifted to earth and coffee for the finish.
