In the last few years, AVO increased its special and limited edition cigar releases. In 2019, AVO announced the East and West regional editions, designating each to its respective side of the country. The West Edition measures out as a belicoso, with a long tapered tip. Distinct almond notes carried out of the cold draw. A rush of baking spice embraced me initially, adding vanilla hints that built to a fabulous crème brulee. The second half shifted to nuts, followed by coffee, for a luxurious finish. Strong spices started on the retrohales, but mellowed throughout the smoke.
