Blackbird Cigars teamed up with Stogiebird to release the Ruffed Grouse line in March 2021. Stogiebird is a monthly cigar subscription that sends some great sticks. Blackbird’s growing lineup is worth checking out. The cold draw of the Ruffed Grouse tasted like a stick, bringing me back to my youth. Fire brought out oak with hints of vanilla in the first third. Dried fruits moved in, followed by light roast coffee, in the second third before being displaced by an earthy finish. Light spices danced in my retrohales. Any palate could enjoy this cigar.
