Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
If you’re unfamiliar with a bird knows as the jackdaw, you’re not alone. The jackdaw, a member of the crow family, fits perfectly into Blackbird Cigar Company’s bird-related labels. After a straight cut, I pulled sweet bread and caramel on the cold draw. Post light, caramel reappeared, but a big wave of spice and black pepper crashed into me. Most Connecticut wrapped cigars don’t deliver such a punch. The wave subsided nearly as quickly as it arrived, leaving cream in its wake. Caramel macchiato took over in the final third, interspersed with cocoa nibs for a dessert-like finish.
