The Blanca 9 Toro is a mystery. Wrapped, bound, and filled with undisclosed tobacco, the smoker is left to wonder about its origin. The sweetness of iced raisin bread flowed from the cold draw. Hefty notes of wood and spice kicked off the first third. The wood settled into oak, bringing along some occasional coffee flavors. The cigar went full-on coffee by the midpoint, carrying that profile to the end when salted pretzel finally took over. Impeccable construction could not compensate for the simple and straightforward flavor profile.
