Byron may be the first hyperpremium brand. The closely guarded blend adds to the allure and the price. The Byron Serie Siglo XXI Honorables is a sight to behold, showcasing a flawless light brown wrapper. Woody notes escaped through the cold draw. A bit of must, a la Davidoff, played center stage in the first centimeter. But, rich honey and cream quickly took over. The midpoint added oak to the mix for a complex and flavorful taste. Finally, I picked up pie crust with occasional bursts of sweetness. This was the best construction I’ve seen in a large cigar.
