Camacho Criollo Toro

The bold yellow band on the Camacho Criollo indicated this stick brought attitude. But the criollo wrapper failed to overwhelm me with body and flavor. Only earth trickled through on the cold draw. Post-light, I was welcomed to toast and cedar. About midway, cedar and mocha began to appear, intensifying, along with nuttiness, to the finish line. Dough emerged on the initial retrohales, trailed by cedar and subtle cocoa notes. The Camacho earned high marks for smokability because of an even burn and excellent combustion. At just over $6, this cigar presents a good value with great flavors.
