Barber pole cigars, long a gimmick by second-tier manufacturers, fell out of favor a few years back. Camacho resurrected the barber pole for its Double Stack LE 2014 Robusto, a stubby cigar without a band. First, the wrapper felt dry and rough to the touch. The cold draw tasted of earth and hay, not inspiring. An unpleasant mineral taste came through on the first few draws. Next, tobacco and hay appeared on the scene. But, this profile failed to bloom into more savory flavors. The dry retrohales featured hay and earth. Camacho missed big on this limited edition cigar.
