Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
GOL! I couldn’t help thinking about the famous soccer (football) announcer who yells “Gol” after each score. The CAO Brasilia Gol!, a stubby robusto, wore a dark, oily Brazilian wrapper. The cold draw released the strongest flavor I tasted during the review, dark chocolate. Flame brought out notes of tobacco and dark roast coffee. Later, I tasted graphite, as if I’d licked the end of a #2 pencil. Thankfully, that flavor didn’t last long, displaced by cocoa. Both cocoa and spice married in my retrohales. The lack of depth in the flavors hurt the cigar’s overall score.
