Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
CAO’s first cigar draped with a Mexican San Andres wrapper was a limited run released in 2018 called the Zócalo, named after Mexico City’s central square. CAO brought it back in 2021 with three vitolas, wearing a band with the colors of the Mexican flag. The cold draw presented a decadent chocolate brownie flavor. And this is where the cigar peaked. I tasted wood, followed by spices and earth. These flavors mingled throughout the entire cigar. Sometimes they played nice, marrying together and highlighting their strengths. Other times they fought for control. Lack of continuity limited the experience.
