I didn’t find myself in a Catch 22, as the name of the cigar would imply. The truly massive double corona covered in a Connecticut wrapper left me longing for flavor. White bread came through on the cold draw. Then I got smacked with mushroom and a distasteful musty flavor. Later, vegetal notes combined with cedar for another lackluster experience. Finally, shortbread arrived to bring some comfort. Retrohales delivered a consistent cedar finish. The Catch 22 suffered from airflow issues. The loose roll made it difficult to keep lit. In this case, you get what you pay for.
