Charter Oak Habano Torpedo Cigar Review

Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

The Charter Oak label from Foundation Cigars features three lines. The Habano is the newest, released in September 2020. I drew notes of hay on the cold draw. Once aflame, loads of black pepper smacked my palette. Red pepper also showed itself, making for a somewhat rude beginning. The flavors relaxed in the second third with cookie dough and baking spice mingling for a pleasant taste. Woody notes, trailed by cedar, led to a satisfactory finish. I was particularly impressed by the construction of this budget cigar.
