Crowned Heads Cigars, based in Nashville, creatively pulls country music into its brand story. The Juarez label takes its name from the town of the same name as portrayed in a Johnny Cash song, At Folsom Prison. The Juarez OBS robusto started with an earthy and manure flavor on the cold draw. More earth greeted me in the first third until a heavy flow of chocolate lava cake descended upon me. Later, the cake turned to mocha but could not hold the intense chocolate waves at bay. I could imagine enjoying the Juarez after dessert with a port or wheated bourbon.
