Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
As stated in a previous post, Nashville-based Crowned Heads loves music. The Serie E is the second installment of the Crowned Heads Court (CHC). Inspired by Eddie Van Halen’s iconic guitar solo from the 1978 track “Eruption,” the cigar brings the heat. It all started with baker’s cocoa in the cold draw. Black pepper exploded in the first few puffs, nearly overwhelming me. As it settled, wood and cocoa joined, replaying over and over through the first two-thirds. As the final third began, I tasted hickory, then hot cocoa and cream. I longed for depth and mature flavors.
