Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz Robusto
This Tennessee exclusive made it north of the border to my local shop in Kentucky. The Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz Robusto is part of the brand’s Special Edition series. Wearing an orange satin band at the foot, the Tennessee Waltz is a handsome, well-rolled cigar. The earthy cold draw left me wanting more. The first third tasted bland, with an earthy tobacco flavor and a little pepper on the retrohale. Later, I could pick up some light coffee notes, but overall I tasted a lot of tobacco. While I enjoyed smoking this cigar, it didn’t meet my expectations. While I paid $1 less than MSRP, it didn’t improve the value score. There are a lot of other maduro cigars on the market for less that deliver tons of flavor. Seek them out.
