Cuban Rounds Churchill
Two words: pleasantly surprised. Like Rodney Dangerfield, the Cuban Rounds gets no respect. But, I took a chance and couldn’t have been more delighted. The bland cold draw passed on hints of tobacco and hay. The flavors emerged after the light. The first half of this churchill blasted my palette with milk chocolate and coffee, flavors that dominated the retrohales. The last half settled into mocha and black pepper, with undertones of spice, especially on the retrohale. I’d have no regrets offering a Cuban Rounds to my friends, and I’d smoke one alongside them.
