The El Borracho Maduro Robusto, introduced in 2018, is another home run by Dapper Cigar Company. The cigar wears a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over an all-Nicaraguan interior. We started with baker’s chocolate on the cold draw. Cocoa carried over into the first third, transitioning to a peppermint patty – very tasty. The second third brought rice pudding, sweet and creamy. Notes of white chocolate and coffee started to take over before the final third began. Near the end, the coffee made room for tinges of earth. Spicy retrohales tied a bow on the balanced flavor profile.
