A grand cigar wearing a striking gold band, the Davidoff 50th Anniversary Diadema looks exquisite. The gorgeous wrapper and superb construction hint at the ultra-luxury level this cigar attains. To start, the cold draw tasted of mushroom and toast, a typical Davidoff trait. The first third brought forth oak and coffee notes. Cocoa and mocha took up shop in the second third, while dried fruit and mocha carried to the finish line. All my retrohales tasted of cocoa and hints of spice. Airflow could not have been better, as I relished in creamy smokey plumes with every puff.
