Debuting on Valentine’s Day in 2019, the Davidoff Revery toro came from the Vault program. Davidoff’s Vault brings unreleased, overruns, private collections, and limited editions to the public. The cold draw presented some tinges of tobacco. A fresh cedar opened, mixing with nuts and spices. Spices continued, welcoming cocoa in a symphonic interchange. Oaky notes tied off the second third before an explosive finale filled with spices, earth, and coffee grounds. The Revery’s roller delivered a perfect draw and burn. I could not have been more satisfied.
