Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
AJ Fernandez created the Dias De Gloria line as an homage to the glory days of Cuban cigars. Since 99% of us haven’t tasted old-world Cubans, I’m not sure how to appreciate his creation. I do appreciate the aged tobaccos cultivated from his farms in Nicaragua. Sweet Hawaiian bread showed on the cold draw. The beginning featured cinnamon graham cracker that slowly shifted to a stale glazed donut flavor. Then an abrupt change to cayenne pepper threw me off. It stayed through the second third until fading to leave earthy notes and a woody finish.
