This Diesel smoked like it was on unleaded. It brought full body, but the muted flavors left me craving more. Based on the original Diesel blended by AJ Fernandez, the Unlimited d.5 robusto brings tons of body and depth to the table. Tinges of tobacco seeped from the cold draw. I tasted very faint notes of cocoa with a few quick hits of shortbread in the first third. Subtle nuances of dried fruit danced around the midpoint. Then the construction issues began. My Diesel went out twice before the final third. Cocoa, followed by cedar, closed out the session.
