Quite a few cigars from Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust found their way to me this year. The Mi Querida Ancho Largo rings in at 6×52, a typical toro, wearing a dark brown Connecticut Broadleaf flavor-bomb wrapper. The cold draw revealed caramel and nuts. Caramel reappeared, accompanied by spice, in the first third. The flavors grew into caramel macchiato, adding touches of cedar along the way. Coffee and cream started the final third, fading to oak and earth at the finish line. The Ancho Largo burned and drew well. Pair it with bourbon or cognac.
