Next time you’re in Miami, head to Calle Ocho and the El Titan de Bronze factory and cigar shop. It is a treasure. The Limited Edition Sumatra Lancero comes from Privada Club and boasts an extra year of aging. I tasted wood coupled with some sweetness on the cold draw. The initial puffs brought sweet tea, reminiscent of warm summer days. As the second third began, sweet cinnamon rolls exploded on my palate. As the cinnamon subsided, an oaky bourbon flavor took hold. The bourbon slipped away to reveal brown sugar for a sweet and surprising final chapter.
