Cigar reviews – 99 words or less

A cigar experience is only as good as the construction. It’s a shame when you get a plugged stick and even worse when the cigar is overfilled. The Emilio Grimalkin Toro suffered from the latter, and it could not recover. I tasted baker’s cocoa on the tight cold draw. Wood appeared in the first third, along with traces of cocoa. By the midpoint, I could only detect coffee. No amount of massaging could save this example, and I didn’t have my Perfecdraw at hand to carve out a proper tunnel. A redux is most certainly in order.
