The Epic Habano Lancero is epic to behold, measuring in at seven and a half inches by 40 ring gauge. Dean Parsons, a former real estate investor, founded the Epic brand in 2010 and now boasts six different lines. I drew out cocoa on the cold draw. Chocolate followed up, bringing with it sprinkles of red pepper. The middle third brought a tasty woodiness that endured until earth joined in for an outdoorsy finale. I was impressed with the construction; both the combustion and burn were on point. Unfortunately, the flavors never popped or excited.
