Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Several Espinosa limited production cigars made their way to me over the last few months. The Hialeah Gardens limited edition, named for the hometown of Espinosa Cigars, came from Privada Club. This example needed some aging, as the flavors were not well developed. A neutral cold draw raised initial concerns. I tasted tobacco and wood in the first third, followed by earth in the second third. Only light roast coffee came through in the uninspiring final third. I enjoyed subtle spices in the retrohales. Overall, the cigar was average, but additional aging may bring out its best.
