It’s been quite a while since I smoked a candela cigar. Do not be afraid of the green leaf. Espinosa Cigars launched the Wasabi a few years ago. Check out the distinctive Habano leaf cap that provides a striking contrast to the green wrapper. After a straight cut, I pulled a neutral flavor. Rich spices rolled in once aflame. Notes of cedar mingled with spices for a rich and delicious finish. The second half ushered in cream and spice, complemented by spicy retrohales. Any cigar smoker would appreciate the linear and flavorful profile.
