The Oliva family honored their daughters through the Excelsior Tobacco Company Doña Lydia cigar. According to its website, the Doña Lydia contains tobacco from the very best in inventory. Interesting, as this is a budget cigar. I drew in some straw on the cold draw, noticing a very tight roll. The first third featured oak, barely dribbling from the constricted draw. The second third brought earth, followed by leather. Woody notes drew the churchill to a close. Lacking depth of flavor and proper airflow, I struggled to see the value proposition. Perhaps some age would do it well.
