Maya Selva is a cigar legend in Europe. Now she offers her award-winning cigars stateside. The Flor de Selva Classic Robusto Tubo impresses the moment it slides out of the luxury tube. Subtle notes of light roast coffee bowed at the cold draw. Upon lighting, coffee and heavy cream welcomed me with warmth. The end of the first third brought the flavor of fresh-baked biscuits. Woody notes eventually took over, accompanied by rich coffee. Peppery retrohales provided some pizazz in an otherwise mellow smoke. Enjoy this cigar after breakfast with a good cup of coffee.
