A solid breakfast cigar. Foundation Cigars’ Highclere Castle Toro checked all the right boxes to accompany you and your coffee out to the patio for a morning respite. Starting with woody notes, the cold draw indicated sufficient airflow. Post-light, I tasted oak and earth, light yet distinct. The halfway mark delivered coffee, followed by nuts. The spicy retrohales tied the flavors up in a tidy bow. Excellent construction yielded near-perfect combustion and creamy volumes of smoke.
