By now, you know the story of Omar de Frias, the former NASA manager that started Fratello. The Fratello Classico represents his signature smoke, one that has garnered many accolades. The Classico has a one size fits all profile, linear and straightforward. After a crossed v-cut, I drew in chewing tobacco. Flame brought forth heavy hickory notes in the first third. The hickory withdrew, leaving cedar near the midpoint. Mixed nuts joined the fray at the end of the second third, hanging around to blend with coffee through the conclusion.
