Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Tres Corona
This Fuente Casa Cuba Doble Tres comes from a box that’s been aging for nearly two years. Lighting the corona was uneventful, though the initial draws were very tight. Construction, as with almost every Fuente, is marvelous. However, the tight draw continued through the entire experience. Thankfully, the Doble Tres remained very smokable, requiring no relights or touch-ups. In terms of flavor, the first third was filled with hot chocolate notes. As it progressed, more coffee notes presented themselves, ending with a hint of espresso. Given the nearly $9 price tag, this Fuente isn’t a great value.
