Fuente’s legendary Opus X line boasts over two dozen vitolas. The Petit Lancero, a thin cigar with a pointed head, suffers from a lack of popularity due to its diminutive size. An explosion of plum and raisin poured through on the cold draw. Dried fruit immediately hit me after lighting the Opus. Then Middle Eastern spices, followed by mild cinnamon notes, presented themselves. Roasted coffee beans rose up to offer a grand finale. Retrohales never wavered from spices and black pepper. The uneven burn and loose roll failed to affect the overall experience, but I expected better craftsmanship.
