Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Nine inches of Fuente’s best tobacco got packed inside the Hemingway Masterpiece Maduro cigar. And, they packed a ton of flavor, too. Distinct notes of chocolate poured out on the cold draw. Then, I was greeted with more chocolate and spice in the first third. Mexican hot chocolate took up residence in the second third. And, the final third brought cedar, then espresso mixed with dark chocolate. Spice, cocoa, and pepper interplayed on the retrohales, creating a great balance with the other flavors. The Masterpiece required three touch-ups. At two-plus hours of smoking time, it’s a serious commitment.
