Privada Cigar Club has grown substantially over the past few years, and it is partnering with cigar companies, big and small. Rojas cigars created the Golden Churro Corona Gorda in a recent collaboration, a nod to its Street Tacos series. A hefty helping of fresh-baked sourdough bread came across the cold draw. The first third handed out natural flavors of wood and grass. Bread-like notes pushed in, expanding to sweet cornbread. The sweetness stuck around, mingling with cedar at the midpoint, accompanied by quick bursts of cinnamon. And the finale tasted just like a churro.
