The Habano #3 Imperial gordo tasted like straw on the cold draw. I tasted wood, followed by cedar, earth, and leather in the first third. An abrupt transition to cocoa, nougat, and nuts occurred about two inches in. The cigar settled into a cocoa profile with mocha, coffee, and earth passing through. The ping pong of flavors confused my palate.
