When a cigar company’s founder is a doctor, you get cigar lines with medical-sounding names. La Cura by GTO Tabacalera Dominicana is the cure for cigar smokers looking for a full-bodied stick with a near-perfect flavor profile. Sweet cocoa nibs delighted me on the cold draw. Chocolate and almonds debuted in the first third, slowly backing away to make room for wood and dried fruit in the second third. Oak and spices mingled at the beginning of the final third, but they stepped aside to let cocoa and dried fruit close out a fabulous smoking experience.
