The good doctor Rodriguez delivered another solid dose in the GTO Pain Killer Toro. This cigar was issued as a gesture of honor and respect to the thousands of Dominican cigar industry workers. What a tribute! Traces of pipe tobacco revealed themselves in the cold draw. Earthy notes debuted, followed by almonds. Near the midpoint, I tasted faint hints of chocolate. The final third rode woody notes to the finish. The GTO rollers produced a masterpiece with a perfect draw and a near razor-sharp burn.
