H. Upmann Connecticut Churchill by Grupo de Maestros
Six of Altadis’ factory managers created the H. Upmann Connecticut Churchill Grupo de Maestros to commemorate the brand’s 175th anniversary. In a unique twist, they’ve added a maduro end cap, which contrasts against the golden yellow wrapper. The cold draw features sweet caramel notes, a flavor that lingers for the duration of the smoke. Some subtle floral hints arrived in the second third, followed by honey in the final third. Only cedar showed itself on the retrohales. Ultimately, this H. Upmann delivered a well-rounded smoking experience; one that goes best with a morning coffee or tea.
