Jake Wyatt specializes in uniquely designed wrappers. It also uses the rare candela wrapper, known for its pale green color and mild taste. Believe it or not, candela cigars made up a majority of cigars sold in America until the 1980s. I pulled in some woody notes on the cold draw of the Lucid Interval Belicoso. Raisins and pretzels greeted me in the first third. A lovely mocha essence managed the middle of the stick, eventually ditching the coffee for more chocolate. Some dashes of mint played in and out until earth mingled with the chocolate in the finish.
