Cigar reviews – 99 words or less
Blenders do some of their best work when they create full-bodied cigars that release distinct flavor profiles. A perfect example is the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño Dark Corojo La Niveladora box-pressed toro. The cigar expertly balances strength and flavor. I enjoyed caramel candy on the cold draw. Cocoa kicked things off, followed by dried cherries. These flavors dominated the first half until coffee and earth stole the show at the midpoint. A final transition occurred at the final third when heaps of chocolate and caramel overtook me. Black pepper retrohales complemented the flavors from start to finish.
