The Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Reserva Especial toro amps up the richness and sophistication in a stunning smoke. The Reserva Especial is a regular production extension of the limited edition Cuatro Cinco from 2013. A brief expression of coffee bean escaped on the cold draw. A continuation of coffee, along with hot cocoa, danced together in the first third. Woody notes pushed their way in, only to be overpowered by chocolate-covered pretzel. The chocolate flavor dropped pretzel in favor of rich torte heading into the final third. Tinges of wood reappeared in the finish.
