If you’re not familiar with JRE Tobacco and Julio R. Eiroa, click the link on the cigar name in this review. The Aladino line features six different blends ranging from Connecticut to Maduro, many earning top ratings from respectable authorities. A simple band adorns the Aladino Corojo Robusto, but complex flavors await. Tobacco notes drizzled from the cold draw. Once aflame, allspice poured out in the first few puffs. Espresso finally settled in, followed by spicy notes. The last half transitioned to leather, with intermittent cedar flavors. A consistent subtle spice sprinkled through the retrohales.
